About Mary Beth Marks
CJ&N clients benefit from Mary Beth's insight and continuous drive to evolve research techniques to adapt to changing consumer habits. The companies she works with range from television networks and station groups to web content providers to financial institutions and universities.
Prior to joining CJ&N, Mary Beth ran her own successful company specializing in research, consulting and talent development. She has worked with companies such as McGraw-Hill Broadcasting, KCRA-TV/Sacramento, NBC-owned stations, KCPQ/Seattle and many others. She also worked for Kelly Broadcasting, first as Director of Corporate Research and Development and later as Vice President of Marketing for Kelly News and Entertainment. Mary Beth also spent several years with Frank N. Magid Associates, as Director of Research Development and as a senior consultant in Los Angeles for developing research and strategy for some of the most successful entertainment television programs. Mary Beth earned a Master’s and PhD in psychology from the University of Colorado, Boulder. After graduation, she taught consumer behavior at the University of Michigan School of Business.
